Born from sleep deprivation (and a lot of early mornings)

Moonzi started the way many good ideas do — in the middle of the night, with an overtired baby and a room that just wouldn’t get dark enough.

Like so many parents, we quickly learned how much light affects sleep.
Short naps. Early wake-ups. Bedtime when the sun was still shining. Travel that completely disrupted routines.

We tried everything we could find… and nothing really worked the way we needed it to.

So we decided to create a better solution.

Why we created Moonzi

We wanted blackout blinds that were:

• Quick to install
• Rental friendly
• Portable for travel and holidays
• Minimal and modern looking
• Designed for real homes and real families

When we couldn’t find them, we built them.
