"We couldn't figure out why our toddler would nap so well at daycare, but struggled to nap at home. Turns out, the room just wasn't dark enough. Once we started using Moonzi, we went from taking over an hour to get our toddler down for a nap to just 10 minutes! Honestly, it's made such a huge difference to our household"
Was actually surprised how well these worked! Brought them for my daughter’s room and it’s helped so much with bed time. They were easy to put up and stuck well to the glass.
10/10 would recommend. I purchased other blackout blinds that I had to cut to shape annd they ended up looking awful on our windows, and left lots of gaps for light to get in. I was so pleased when I found Moonzi online. The blinds do the primary job of blocking the light, perfectly, whilst also looking nice! The way you can resize them is subtle and tidy. I love that they are easily portable for trips away too. The customer service was also great with the team answering all my questions quickly and following up with more information. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

• Trying to keep a sleep routine away from home
You already know how important darkness is.
Light tells the brain it’s time to wake up.
Darkness tells the brain it’s time to sleep.
Moonzi helps you create the dark sleep environment babies and toddlers need — in any room, anywhere.
Moonzi includes adjustable velcro strips that allow you to customise the size of the blind to suit your window.
This means:
• You can get a snug fit for better blackout
• One blind works across different rooms and homes
• Perfect for travel and changing spaces
No complicated measuring or permanent sizing required.
Finding blackout blinds for larger windows in New Zealand can be surprisingly difficult — most options are either too small, need permanent installation, or don’t fully block light around the edges. That’s especially frustrating for big bedroom windows, sliding doors, or wide nursery spaces that need proper darkness.
The Moonzi Large blackout blinds (145 x 300cm) are designed specifically for these bigger spaces. They provide generous coverage while still being portable, adjustable, and renter-friendly, so you don’t have to compromise between size, ease of use, and effective light blocking.
Traditional blackout blinds require drilling, tools, and permanent installation.
Moonzi was designed for real life.
Use it in:
• Nurseries
• Bedrooms
• Rental homes
• Airbnbs and hotels
• Holiday homes
• Grandparents’ houses
Take it down when you don’t need it. Pack it when you travel. Put it up again in minutes.
Folds down and fits into a compact carry bag so you can take better sleep wherever you go.
No tools, no damage, no complicated setup.
Velcro strips let you tailor the blind to fit most windows for a better blackout result.
Created from real-life sleep struggles, not just product ideas.
Will this damage my windows?
No — Moonzi uses a suction-based system designed to be removable and rental friendly.
Will it fit my window?
The adjustable velcro system allows you to customise the size to fit most window shapes and sizes.
Is it good for travel?
Yes! Moonzi was designed to pack down small so you can maintain sleep routines anywhere.
Does it really help baby sleep?
Darkness is one of the most powerful sleep cues. Many families use blackout blinds to support longer naps and later wake-ups.
